About LRU
LRU Technology was established in Taiwan in 1985 as a trading company in the lighting industry. In 1995, it set up LRU Technology Co., Ltd. in Zhongshan City, Guangdong Province, as a wholly-owned enterprise. Currently, the company has about 300 employees, including more than 30 in R&D. The factory covers an area of over 40,000 square meters. LRU started with garden lighting and expanded into office and residential lighting, maintaining professional insight into industry trends. Since 2003, the company has gradually established production and sales supply chains overseas, and in 2008, it formed strategic partnerships with major American and European companies, including Lowe's and Home Depot.
LRU’s main product range includes traditional lighting, LED lighting, low-voltage intelligent control systems, and more. The company has over 30 years of experience in lighting design, production, and sales, collaborating with many renowned designers and brands worldwide.
In 2017, in response to the Taiwanese government’s “5+2" industrial innovation plan aimed at encouraging Taiwanese businesses to invest back in Taiwan, LRU partnered with the Industrial Technology Research Institute (ITRI) to establish “LRU Technology Co., Ltd." The company's team was formed to focus on expanding Human centric lighting health care products. These products integrate low-voltage systems with intelligent control to achieve a fully energy-efficient model. LRU is actively developing and promoting products designed to regulate circadian rhythms and improve light health care, offering more comfortable, healthy, and value-added integrated solutions for international markets.
